classes on business development and operation
Migration and trafficking are intimately linked to economic development and opportunities for sustainable livelihood across South Asia. Poor people in developing countries must have equity for an interdependent, global economy to function. For northern companies seeking access to emerging markets in India and elsewhere, social realities on the ground must provide incentive for the poor to participate. Without healthy participation by the bulk of the population globalization is not sustainable and life at the grinding edge of the global economy remains difficult.
Strengthening the rule of law, promoting micro-credit finance, promoting women’s status and education, improving the health security of the broader population, contribute to global economic equity and mutual interest in economic growth.
