Board of Directors:
Pramod Parajuli, PhD
Mr. Parajuli is an internationally renowned interdisciplinary scholar,
sustainability educator and anthropologist. A graduate of Stanford
University, he has taught at Stanford,
the University of Iowa, Syracuse
University, Lewis and Clark College,
and with the International Honors Program (Boston University).
He is a native of Nepal
and is an expert in the political economy of the region.
Priya Kapoor, PhD
Ms. Kapoor earned her PhD from Ohio University and was a communication consultant to the
United Nation's Children's Fund (UNICEF) prior to becoming a professor at Portland State University.
She also produced, scripted, and reported national news programs for India’s
foremost TV news agency. Dr. Kapoor is currently on sabbatical researching and
evaluating trafficking programs in India.
Ingrid Hilen Savage
Ms. Savage is active in capacity building with human rights and arts
organizations. She has worked with a variety of organizations including the
National Endowment for the Arts. She provides outreach and media direction to
Daywalka.
Andrew Levine
Mr. Levine created the award winning film The Day My God Died documenting the South Asian slave trade. He
serves on the Daywalka Foundation Board of Directors and provides expertise
concerning media and public awareness.
Joe
Sullivan
Mr. Sullivan is a public access veteran of the Bill and Melinda Gates
Foundation Library Initiative where he developed sustainable technology
programs for low-resource libraries and Native American nations. He is
currently a research fellow at the Center for Internet Studies at the University of Washington’s Daniel J. Evans School of
Public Affairs.
