Scott Parsons, J.D.

Mr. Parsons is responsible for operational and administrative management of Daywalka programs. He has prosecuted criminal cases in the United States and has extensive jury trial experience. His expertise includes development of relational financial databases for Fortune 500 companies and before joining Daywalka operated his own consultancy at ClaimsAgent.net.

Nepal Office

Deepak Maskey

Mr. Maskey joined the British Forces (Brigade of Gurkhas) at a young age and traveled the world fighting for the British. After a young retirement he went to work at the British Embassy in Kathmandu, which he has since left to join Daywalka almost 6 years ago. Mr. Maskey looks after all counter-human trafficking programs and operations for Daywalka in Nepal.

Ms. Aryal has her BA in Library Studies and is the cornerstone to the proper functioning of the WCSRC, Kathmandu. She not only works as our librarian and office administrator she also runs Nepali literacy, AIDS awareness, and hygiene clinics in shelter homes, squatter camps, and carpet and brick factories for women and children.

Bagala Regmi

Ms. Regmi has her LL.M in criminal law and has worked as a human rights lawyer for nearly 15 years.

Nilufor Chaulagain
Dance Therapist

Nilufor is finishing her training in dance therapy, she will then operate the Daywalka/Sanved partnership organization in Kathmandu. Participants include survivors, at-risk women and children, children living on the streets of Kathmandu, and the training of shelter home staff.

Suman Saha

Suman Saha graduated from the prestigious National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS), Kolkata, in 2005 and was part of NUJS' maiden batch. Suman is also the recipient of Dr. NR Madhava Menon Gold Medal in Media Law, one of the five gold medals instituted at NUJS for excellence in specialized subjects.

Maiteryee Treveni

Ms. Treveni runs Daywalka's Legal Clinic in the red light area of Kalighat, Kolkata. Listening to the women in prostitution she is learning the trafficking routes used to bring girls and women from Nepal and Bangladesh to be sold into the Kolkata red light area brothels. She is also filing for and securing Indian citizenship documents for the hundreds of at-risk undocumented children growing up in Kalighat who are extremely vulnerable to trafficking.
