Baking and Cooking Courses
The WCSRC runs skill trainings for trafficking survivors, women living in shelters, and at-risk youth. The cooking/baking training is specifically designed for women and girls who aspire to set up their own small cafeteria or restaurant business in the future. The WCSRC has successfully trained 60 women and girls thus far. TDF has also opened a small restaurant within its center for training and as an operating restaurant.
We have been informed by the shelter homes that some students are already in the process of establishing their own small business in Kathmandu and Bhairahawa. These courses have become very popular and requests for more such courses are being made from shelter homes.
