Discussion on Female Artist Demand in Theater:
The participation of female artists in theater 60 years back and today is the same. In those days the role of women were played by male artists. Still today due to lack of female artists, the directors are compelled to choose such dramas that don't have the role of female.
Young artist Krishna Shah Yatri spoke on this issue in the program subjected as "Women participation in Nepalese theatre". Sunday, The Daywalka Foundation, working in the field of women and children, had organized an interaction program. People from the related fields were invited as speakers in the program. Senior writer Tulsi Diwas had presented the importance of literature in women empowerment and women development.
Similarly renowned writer in child literature Ramesh Bikal spoke on the same issue. After the speakers of the program expressed their views the audience raised the issues related questions to the speakers. Problems related with this field were discussed and many of them were of the opinion that Nepalese literary, art and theatre must support live hood and new thought must be originate regarding this .In the program, Gyanhari Poudel, Usha Aryal and Deepak Maskey threw light on the related matter and organizational objectives.
